small talk guide: i wish i was warren buffet

the recent stock market crash made me wish i was warren buffet, badly. his wisdom, his patience, his grace under pressure ..  all the things that define a good fundamental investor.  i want all that in me, in less than a minute. like how they do it in the matrix movies.

finding this book at the fully booked store in bonifacio made me rethink all of my investing strategies. i should not be investing like your next door gambler. i should be investing in a business, not on the stock.

this book tells you simple things and how important they are to your attitude towards investing. i highly recommend this book to all those who supposedly lost around 40% of their portfolio in the recent credit woes crash. this book will make you smile.

  1. fully booked in BGC! that’s the place to be. sobrang love ko pumunta dun to find new readables. hehe. although books are priced a bit higher than NBS. may starbucks pa sa taas. sad naman affected ka ng stock market crash. tsk!

  2. nyss, dabest nga yung fully booked na yun. sarap tumamby at magbasa ng kung anu ano. sana lahat ng libraries nung college ganun ang setup. yikes napaghahalata tayong nerd ah. hehe oklang yung stocks.. makakabawi rin yan.

  3. true. sarap tumambay dun. actually, dami kong list ng books to buy this month. (overdue: last month ko pa dapat nabili mga yun) pero sulit naman tumambay at dun magbasa ng kung ano ano. 5pm lang uwi ko, inaabot ako ng 10pm madalas. hahaha. oo nga, napaghahalataan mga nerd. and yes, makakabawi din. may pag-asa lahat!
