evariste galois
this man wrote a brilliant mathematical theory the night before he fought a duel for the love of a woman, and died. he was 20. that was almost 200 years ago. now i couldnt imagine life without him.
he is responsible for the major mathematical structures in finite fields, a theory that plays a major role in error correction systems. these are the equations that allowed information transmission in space and data reconstruction in scratched cd surfaces. in the digital world, his equations are everywhere.
check him out here.
bakit ko sya nakwento? eh takte, hindi ako makahanap ng models ng galois multipliers for m = 13. paker.

kung di nya nagawa yung theory niya, mayroon iba ang gagawa :p

estan, we have the same thing in mind. ganun din tingin ko sa pythagorean theorem.
